Stop the Presses! Just kidding…

It’s only been two years since we opened our doors, but it’s been even better than we expected. We’ve been working with the best of clients on projects that we believe in 100%, and it’s been especially rewarding to see that our brand of business can thrive.

Now, we’re being featured by the Globe & Mail in its series, “Redefining Success in the Small Business,” due in part to our early financial success, which has seen a revenue growth of 400% in our first two years of business. Business specialist Anthony C. Taylor, principal at SME Strategy Management Consulting, interviews our co-founders, Brandy Svendson and Natalie Chan, for the piece.

Highlights include Taylor’s glowing praise for Svendson and Chan’s strategy of keeping a debt-free enterprise, reinvesting profits into the business, taking a long term perspective on growth, and steering away from additional pressures from debtors or investors. Taylor also focuses on how Be the Change Group has benefitted by initially pursuing small contracts with organizations that have big reach.

It’s both humbling and rewarding to receive recognition for our work, but, above all, it motivates us to continue to promote positive change in the future.
