Every country, province, and city has different guidelines and recommendations on what and what not to do during the COVID-19 pandemic. With B.C. moving forward with opening up the economy, many broad recommendations have been made, all of which culminate in requesting that all businesses develop a safety plan and related policies to keep our teams and our customers safe.
We know that so many other businesses don’t have the privilege of accessing clinical guidance during this pandemic. At Be the Change Group, we’re fortunate because we have clinicians and public health experts on our team to lead us through this time and help us understand the information that’s out there. So we’ve decided to share our pandemic workplace policy publicly so that other businesses have an example to work from.
Based on public health guidelines that are current up to May 7, 2020, this policy needs to be tailored to each unique business and requires training to be implemented properly. It is not meant to stand alone, but rather to complement your safety plans.
We hope that you find it helpful and that it helps your team and customers feel and stay safe. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions, or would like support in adapting and expanding your pandemic workplace policy. Our team is here to help.
Happy birthday to us! Celebrating our 8th year anniversary (virtually of course)
Time sure flies when you’re having fun!
We are so happy to be celebrating Be the Change Group’s 8th anniversary with the team! It looks a little different this year because of COVID-19, so we are celebrating it together but physically apart.
Extra, extra, read all about it! Child care is making headlines!
We are so excited to unveil Kimberley’s new Child Care Action Plan! Over the past three months, we’ve been working hard to engage the city of Kimberley’s families, caregivers, soon-to-be parents, child care providers and facilities to inform a pathway forward for child care in Kimberley.
