Every country, province, and city has different guidelines and recommendations on what and what not to do during the COVID-19 pandemic. With B.C. moving forward with opening up the economy, many broad recommendations have been made, all of which culminate in requesting that all businesses develop a safety plan and related policies to keep our teams and our customers safe.
We know that so many other businesses don’t have the privilege of accessing clinical guidance during this pandemic. At Be the Change Group, we’re fortunate because we have clinicians and public health experts on our team to lead us through this time and help us understand the information that’s out there. So we’ve decided to share our pandemic workplace policy publicly so that other businesses have an example to work from.
Based on public health guidelines that are current up to May 7, 2020, this policy needs to be tailored to each unique business and requires training to be implemented properly. It is not meant to stand alone, but rather to complement your safety plans.
