It is not often that we get the opportunity to hear impressive speakers from around the world, such as Graça Machel, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, Maria Toorpakai Wazir, Isha Sesay, and Joannie Marlene Bewa to name a few. In attending four days of discussions on investing in women, empowering women, working towards gender equality, and promoting global advocacy, it is hard not to feel inspired and energized.

The cherry on top has been the opportunity to attend Jhpiego’s unveiling of the animation, The World We See, we created for them, highlighting their work in addressing gender-based violence, empowering women, and fostering couples’ equitable decision making and male engagement.

As co-founders of Be the Change Group, Brandy and I (Natalie) are so incredibly passionate about changing the world, and this conference is a reminder that we need to lead by example. We are grateful to have an amazing core team of women who grind out exceptional work for us everyday, and we know that we must continue to be thoughtful in the ways that we provide ongoing opportunities for women to develop into and grow as leaders.
