Rachel advises our teams on internal and external communications, quickly grasping and understanding complex concepts and systems to provide thoughtful, scalable, communications strategies and recommendations that support business objectives. She is also highly skilled in media relations, issues management, and crisis communications.
With 15 years of communications and marketing experience in large and small federal and provincial agencies and global private organizations, Rachel leads the development of communications and marketing plans, articulating key messages to help elevate and strengthen brands inside and out. She works closely with senior leadership, mid-level management, and human resources personnel in establishing communications programs in new and changing environments to inform, encourage, and engage employees and public audiences.

Rachel also brings her communications skills to bear outside of work, enhancing her ability to live with a snobby Shiba Inu and a small human who generates a lot of Cheerios dust. Copious amounts of coffee and wine help, too.

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Communication Studies from the University of Calgary, a diploma in Journalism from SAIT Polytechnic (honours), and a project management certificate from the University of British Columbia.
