Rachel advises our teams on internal and external communications and public relations. A seasoned communications professional, she understands that collaboration is key to developing and implementing successful communications strategies to improve in-house and public understanding of key project objectives.
With 15 years of communications and marketing experience in diverse industries, including provincial and federal government organizations, she translates complicated and often sensitive subject matters into easy-to-understand media to inform, encourage, and engage audiences of all levels. Rachel is experienced in delivering both public-facing and employee-focused communications strategies, and has worked closely with senior leadership, mid-level management, and human resources personnel in preparing varied communications materials, conducting media relations, articulating key messaging, and carrying out issues management and crisis communications.
Rachel holds a Bachelor of Communication Studies from the University of Calgary, a diploma in Journalism from SAIT Polytechnic (honours), and a project management certificate from the University of British Columbia.
