Caitlin brings extensive experience globally in policy development for harm reduction, public health, and human rights programs.

With over twelve years experience in peer and community-based HIV/AIDS, harm reduction, public health and human rights programs, Caitlin is the co-founder of Youth RISE - an international youth-led network that advocates for the reduction of drug related harm grounded in human-rights based policies. She has worked in Cambodia and Southeast Asia in the field of HIV/AIDS advocacy and education, drug policy and human rights initiatives and regularly speaks, facilitates and moderates sessions and panels at high level meetings within the United Nations agencies, international organizations and conferences.

Caitlin received a diploma in Child and Youth Care Counseling from Douglas College and has a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Humanities and Psychology from New College of California. She has studied film and video production at Langara College, the British Columbia Institute of Technology and the Gulf Islands Film and Television School, and has worked on a variety of documentaries and video-based awareness campaigns. Having received her health coach certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, Caitlin owns a thriving holistic health coaching practice working with women who struggle with problematic alcohol use.
